Welcome!

My name is Mia Alaimo, and I am an actor born and raised in the cornfields of Iowa, now conveniently based in Los Angeles. I am a recent graduate from Drake University, where I secured, or perhaps swindled, a BFA degree. 

When I'm not playing characters who closely resemble me, I enjoy cooking without a recipe, starting new shows I know I'm never going to finish, playing my guitar, and supporting my local theaters.

My 5 year plan includes never taking life too seriously, family dinners, self discovery, and becoming an aunt (again!). I am excited for the future, but I am learning to live in the moment-- I don't want to miss a second of this life.

If I HAD to choose a dream role, it would be Charity in Sweet Charity (twist my arm). And in a Greta Gerwig film (no specifications on that one).
